About
I am an ICREA Researcher at the Departament de Lògica, Història, i Filosofia de la Ciència of the Universitat de Barcelona, junior coordinator of LOGOS, and associate fellow at NIP (Aberdeen) and Arché (St Andrews).
I recently visited Columbia University as a "José Castillejo" Visiting Scholar. Before I was GenCat-Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU Department of Philosophy (2006-07), Vagueness Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Arché (2004-06), Professor Associat (2002-04) and PhD Research Fellow (1998-01) at the Universitat de Barcelona, where I got my PhD with the thesis Response-Dependencies: Colors and Values (2003), and a Visiting Student for a short while in 2001 at the RSSS Philosophy Program in ANU.
I am currently working on vagueness, and more specifically dealing with the connection between the view of vagueness as semantic indecision and metaphysical issues. I am also working on metametaphysics, on issues in contextulalism/relativism, on response-dependent properties and the debate about realism, on the notion of rigidity for predicates, and on truthmakers and grounding. I also have interests in other issues in metaphysics, metaethics, and the philosophy of language.
